October gives us an opportunity to recognize the history, heritage, and contributions of Polish Americans throughout our nation's story.
Polish roots in America reach back to the early days of the country, including Polish settlers who arrived at Jamestown in the early 1600s. Generations of Polish Americans have since contributed to American life through science, the arts, education, industry, military service, and countless other fields.
This month, we’re proud to recognize the lasting legacy of Polish Americans.
