We Honor. We Remember. We Celebrate... Black History Month.
In 2026, we recognize 100 years since the origins of Black History Month, first observed as Negro History Week in 1926. This milestone invites us to honor the achievements, contributions, and lasting impact of Black leaders, educators, artists, and change makers who continue to shape our world.
As we continue Soaring Together, we celebrate this legacy not only by learning from it, but by inspiring our students to see themselves as future leaders, creators, and contributors to the story still being written.
